The National Park Service (NPS) is asking the public to weigh in on a report examining the potential effects of President Trump's proposed Triumphal Arch.
Don’t know the specifics for who does what there, but I’m assuming there will be a lot of job cuts, budget cuts, mismanagement and abandonment of currently managed locations in order to focus on this single display of overcompensation and megalomania.
Is it being built in an earthquake prone area? Flood lands? Unstable ground? Marshy? Cavernous?
Is it economically viable? What are any actual (as in not wishful thinking) prognosticated revenues from its construction?
Any dangers to local fauna/flora?
Is it ugly?
