We shouldn’t take for granted how open and customizable PC gaming is. If things had gone the way Microsoft wanted we’d be paying a monthly online subscription for games with P2P matchmaking and every single one would need to be purchased and installed through the restrictive and utterly useless Xbox store.

Of any type of online interaction, really.

Tried it once, it’s features and quality were so lacking I stuck with Jellyfin. I’d charge Plex $4999.99 monthly to let their software stay in my devices.
