Someone else’s hard work made them rich

They do “work hard” but that to them means swindle every worker out of their hard earned bonuses so that they can get a fat bonus for a “great job” that they did by firing thousands of people and forcing the rest to do triple the amount of work for the same money.

If hard work made you rich, the donkey would own the farm.

Technically hard work did make them rich … just not theirs …
