Okay, what’s wrong with the wording there, because all I am doing is saying “this is not normal vassal behavior,” which it isn’t. I think of Ukraine or Saudi Arabia or any European state as being “a normal vassal.” I think if some congress dipshit went to any of those places and got arrested for nothing it would be somewhat of an incident which would result in their release and at least an apology. In this case, he’s arrested by a paramilitary and then when the actual military shows up, they side with them.

That’s what you intended to say but people are clearly reading it as saying that Israel isn’t a vassal state of the USA at all. It’s the more obvious reading to me and clearly to a lot of other people as well. Just be less ambiguous in your wording and you won’t get people up your ass about it, or at least if you do the majority of people are likely to have your back.
