The account is a day old so I can’t see how I could possibly already have broken the rules. I have another account on piefed.social that I’ve had for a while and I didn’t get banned in all that time. Any ideas what it could have been?

Your loss
Eh, there are obviously content I miss from your instance, but I noted that I mostly got annoyed at it, and as I sometimes have a tendency to get into arguments before realizing where I am posting, I decided that I simply didn’t want to deal with it, and to leave you alone, I don’t bother your instance, and I get a more focused lemmy experience.
I don’t mind interacting with hexbear users out on other instances as the interaction is calmer.
Oh, and before you feel singled out, I browse All on lemmy, and have a gigantic block list of communities and entire instances, I really should get a new lemmy account that is set up with proper subscriptions and do it that way instead…
all+fat blocklist is how i used to use reddit back in the day. I didn’t want to see every niche thing all the time but if i was on a subbed only feed i’d miss the niche stuff that hit r/all so i figured it was better to block stuff i never wanted to see so i could be surprised by things i wouldn’t have thought to subscribe to
