31st of may word had nothing to do with kids? It was a stupid French word to do with music when I looked it up
i randomly did the worldle today. i thought of this word and said nah they wouldnt have some french word in there…
I mean, it’s used in English as well. Lots of English words originated in French…
It’s a weird meaning “study”, most often used in English to refer to pieces of music designed to help practise specific techniques. At a stretch, you could say that “studying” is an activity associated with children, and that’s the connection.
Big stretch though.
3/6 today get wrulecked nerds
Being owned by the NYT, I’m pretty sure their reaction to children is bombing them.
Yo, what?
The Wordle devs didn’t actually do anything (probably), the accusation is just an extremely exaggerated way to express discontent at the choice of word.
I don’t want to support NYT , can you spoiler post the word please?
You can do previous (and current) Wordles without supporting NYT
Title
Etude
Thank you for posting the word.
I don’t understand how that word relates to children.
