Israel has halted attacks on Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, stopping short of acknowledging a ceasefire that US President Donald Trump said the countries were aiming for. Follow live updates.
The ceasefire with Iran on April 8th called for a pause to all hostilities in the region, but for some reason Israel unilaterally decided this didn’t prevent them from continuing their invasion into Lebanon.
Then on April 16th there was a different agreement between Israel and the Lebanon government, which again did not prevent Israel from shelling towns and murdering civilians who had not managed to flee their illegal “buffer zone” in the south.
And then of course there’s Gaza, which also is under an alleged ceasefire despite the fact that Israel continues to seize territory, airstrike refugee camps, and shoot children there on a daily basis.
