maybe it’s a well known thing… I heard they originally wanted to continue Ro’s story but that actress didn’t want to do a multi-year TV deal because she was doing movies, so they wrote in Kira instead, worked out well in the end
this episode is probably one of the most honest depictions of the roots of modern terrorism there is; it makes me wonder if we’ll ever see such depictions in the future.
