Last video was rather sad, seeing the hut crumble down. Glad to see he found ways around it, like building it slowly this time, but I wonder if there isn’t some material better than mud to use as a mortar; near the end he mixes it with ashes but I’m not sure if this helps at all.
Another possibility is to change the shape of the bricks, so they naturally fit together, so the mortar is less relevant (albeit still necessary). Or even bricks with holes in them, so as you stack them you can wood in the holes for additional resistance.
