If the pot is nice and large you can let it keep a lot of the runners too that will just hang over the edge and make more strawberries. I plant mine in soil over winter at a friends yard and then plant some of them back in the basket for the summer. Good moisture retaining soil and storage fertilizer and it’s such an easy thing. The variety is a constantly producing one, you want one of those for a hanging basket.
