Etsy banned my account for buying something when I was a couple hours away from home. I tried to appeal and they denied it. Automated systems be smart.
It depends. If it looks for odd purchases and notifies your phone, that’s useful. Maybe even having an authentication in such cases, although I’d rather just get the info instead of having to give permission for everything.
Mine slams the brakes and cancels the transaction, which is great when you’re trying to add money to a transit card as the train arrives 🥲

I love how it lets me confirm every single online purchase no matter how small - except when I buy sex toys for a couple hundred euros, that is no problem, no confirmation needed. Bank has its priorities right.😅
