Drove past earlier and had to do a double take. FHP had the blue lights going in the parking lot off Apalachee Parkway across from Whataburger and there were quite a few Penske trucks backed up to the building. Thought it was a fender bender at first but nope, watched them load what looked like gaming/slot machines straight into the truck.

Turns out it was yet another illegal casino operation getting shut down. Only in Tally lol.

Anyone else catch this or know more details? Curious how these places work as they seem to never go out of business despite frequent busts and never have a shortage of guests- do people actually win real money at these places? I always thought it was a straight scam but perhaps not.

I walk my dog by there at close to sunset almost daily and have been amazed at the number of cars in the parking lot. It makes sense this is illegal activity and not a late night rush on acupuncture and dog grooming…
