1 day agoProbably here? [CNN] with estimates here ranging from about 13-19% of prewar oil traffic(or~29% if you want to stretch the definition of open to include bypassing the strait via pipelines). Even if accurate, it still doesn’t factor in the increased cost of transit by all possible means of bypassing the closure or paying the tolls.
Yeah, definitely a lot of cope. Even with the overly optimistic estimates of strait traffic they conjured, they are still struggling to fully rationalize the futures prices.
