Poutine [he/him, comrade/them]
In French, Putin is called “Poutine” because otherwise his name is a swear word. Poutine happens to also be a regional food from Québec comprised of french fries, gravy, and cheese curds. This is very funny.
I have level 2 autism. I will not understand most of your emoji meanings, or subtle tone use. When in doubt, a tone marker goes a long way.

8·5 days agoThis goes for everything: computers, game consoles, appliances, and more. In a recent visit to my family’s house, I turned on the game console to play a game, but it would not let me until I did a software update than would take two hours. Then it would force a game update that would take an hour. But the last time that I played the game, everything worked fine.
When I was younger, there were no updates to game consoles or games. We would play games and be cognisant of the minor glitches they had, which were perhaps annoying, but less so than not being able to play at all.

18·12 days agoI have noticed that there are two distinct ways that people interpret “turning the AC down”.
Half – generally those who live in a place where central AC is common – will mean that they will lower the temperature on the thermostat so the room will get colder.
The other half – generally those who have portable air conditioners that do not display temperature – will mean that they will turn the machine’s power down so that the room will get warmer.
I never assume meaning from this phrase for this reason.
