1 day agoThis thread does have me understanding why libs are so invested in electoralism. I get regular intervals of dopemine or concern every time new results come in…and I’m innoculated from this by the immortal science of Marxism-Leninism.

Relying exclusively on proprietary for-profit hosting platforms as an anti-capitalist institution is most certainly not a good idea.
ffs the least they could be doing is setting up a bot to mirror their tweets to Mastodon. They have no RSS feed, no content reproduced on FOSS platforms, and no reach that isn’t entirely dependent on the good graces of capital.
It is reckless imo. They needed a life raft, and they needed it yesterday. Lest they end up like Africa Stream, red., or any of the other outlets that the ban hammer has already come down upon.
