Oh yeah, the extremely real pilots were picked up by a vehicle that just happened to have nobody on board to witness it.

Could be a ploy to resume the full-blown war without the 60 day War Powers Act countdown. I think “self defense” is a loophole in it.
Like with the F-15 “pilot rescue mission” that looked like a coverup for a failed nuclear extraction operation, I’m not fully convinced that a helicopter was even shot down.

Allegedly. I mean, I guess it’s possible they could have had a “soft” landing in the water, but attack helicopters aren’t exactly known for their survivability.

AI bubble bursts -> cheap hardware and energy for mining -> crypto crashes? So maybe people are getting out while they still can?

Two separate missiles. One hit an airfield in Bila Tserkva near Kiev, the other hit somewhere in Donetsk oblast.

If it failed in flight, it would have presumably stopped short of the true target along roughly the same direction it was aimed. Even if it’s somewhat maneuverable, it’s still a ballistic missile at the end of the day.

It just seems unlikely to me that it was a failure if it lifted off successfully, traveled such a long distance, and deployed the warheads. And there aren’t really any other good targets in the same direction from Kasputin Yar to Donetsk.

Everyone seems to be dunking on Putin for this, calling it cope to cover up a failed missile strike or whatever, but I find it believable. It satisfies his eye-roll-inducing level of restraint and desire to assess the actual effects of the weapon in greater detail. Still a little embarrassing though.

“We were reassured that the Baltic region is of critical importance to NATO and the U.S., they see our investment, and our defense spending is shown as an example to other allies,” he added.
Technically not a lie, lol. And as a cherry on top, they’ll even let you fight Russia like you wanted to!

According to my information, during yesterday’s massive combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine, Russia struck a warehouse being used to store Patriot PAC-2/3 interceptors and other ammunition with Kh-101 cruise missiles.
During the attack, approximately 14 Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles disappeared from radars all at once in Chernihiv Oblast. It turns out, they likely struck a warehouse complex in the village of Ladynka, Chernihiv Oblast, which was apparently being used by Ukraine to store ammunition and Patriot PAC-2/3 interceptor missiles. The highlighted building was apparently the one containing Patriot missiles.
Additionally, it’s possible that several Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles launched from Kursk Oblast were used to strike this facility. This would explain why the Ukrainian Air Force claimed that only 8 Zircons were launched, instead of my earlier estimations of 14 missiles.
Recently, Ukraine received multiple new batches of Patriot PAC-2/3 interceptors, which I reported on when Ukraine transported them using three An-72 military cargo aircraft to western Ukraine. It’s possible that these missiles were then transferred from western Ukraine to this village, spotted by Russia being moved, and subsequently struck a couple of days later, however this is just speculation right now.
We should get Sentinel-2 satellite imagery of this are tomorrow, so assuming there are no clouds, I should be able to confirm if this was indeed the place which was hit or not.

Potential evidence for my theory that the telegraphed Kiev strike was partially intended to lure out and destroy air defense shipments.
Maybe it was just an opportunistic attack, but if it’s a strategy to exacerbate the existing Ukrainian shortage of air defenses, it could snowball. Expensive cruise missiles (Zircons) paving the way for cheaper ones (Kalibrs), drones, and eventually maybe even real air superiority.

Wouldn’t THAAD systems in Asia just be sitting ducks for DF-17 et al? Seems like a losing battle when even Iran can regularly defeat them.
Maybe this order is part of the US mainland’s Golden Dome and they are framing it as an “Indo-Pacific defense commitment” to make their vassals feel better.

Reporter: ‘Iran says they’re suspending negotiations’
President Trump: ‘I haven’t heard that, I don’t know if that’s true. If it is, it’ll be a good thing—we’ve been talking a lot, perhaps too much. We’ll go silent for a while, and it could be a long time. But it doesn’t mean we’ll start dropping bombs, we’ll just keep the blockade. They’re losing a fortune over there.’

Lol. I swear they just wanted the 60 day “nuclear negotiation” ceasefire extension to complete ongoing military preparations, along with temporary opening of the Strait to free up oil for their vassals, after which they would immediately resume the war. Now they have to take the status quo cuck ceasefire.
Honestly I would imagine that Russia is struggling more with attrition of air defense radars and launchers instead of ammunition. The Starlink-guided long range FPV drones are a real menace.
