I’d need more specifics but I don’t necessarily see any contradictions in those statements. Your gender identity could align with your sex at birth and you present as such in social situations, but you don’t want the bias that comes with Ms./Mr. (or, God forbid, Mrs.) in professional or impersonal situations.
For example, seeing Mr./Ms. somewhere on a CV or reference letter triggers ingrained patriarchal bias even with the best intentions.
