I’m not an Anarchist – gotta state that up front for the spooks. That said, anarchists often overlap with democratic populists.

Someone pointing out that “solar panels are an ideal ore for everything that goes into solar panels” was half the reason I changed my mind on solar. I’d been pretty skeptical that solar could ever cover its production costs, and for the first go around I still doubt it, but recycling changes the picture.

The other half the reason I changed my position on solar panels was the relative independence it brings users.

It’s exactly as stupid as it sounds. Landlord decided we need to pay through an app. My budget overrules my principles, and the local laundry mats are at least five times the price, so… Yeah.

The only reason I have an android is that the laundry app I’m forced to use runs through it. It’s literally only still surviving because capitalism contrived a way to tie it to my basic needs.
