      And because of that, a number insurance companies went belly up when hurricane and flooding damage losses became too much, or stopped issuing insurance in Florida. Many are now insured with a state owned insurance of last resort.

      Not sure how you can factor it into house pricing. People will be unwilling to pay such high prices for a risky investment, simple market dynamics.

      Insurance would be more able to accomodate though.

      Much of this could be due to the “dripping” of rock under NA, though climate change surely plays a factor. Fun, or not so fun, reading, depending on how you look at it.
