As someone that was trapped in Texas for years, with real Mexican food available in every other strip mall, every single latino friend I had but especially the ones that were first-gen always made us get taco bell or taco cabana for lunch when it was their turn to pick a place.
That being said the reason this will fail is Chipotle’s awful prices compared to what you get, especially if they bring this cali-mex style to anywhere with similar habits of putting rice in burritos.
