It’s cause they are not really alive. They are terrible miserable people who do terrible miserable thing to each other. All the money and power in the world and they wouldn’t know joy if it came up and hug them. (Joy slapping people seems out of character)
It’s kind of incredible how so many of the worst people on earth just never seem to enjoy anything in life, not even a nice meal.
