PsychologyToday.com lets you filter by price range, but doesn’t actually allow for price-based sorting. That has annoyed me for years, so I decided to do something about it. When I last looked, I’d checked the update (that same day, whoo!), and proceeded to contact over a dozen clinics that took my insurance… only to find that every single one had dropped them months before. Thafuq. 🖕🏼
Unfortunately, I think that’s usually a result of the provider not updating their profile, which is frustratingly common :/ In fact, some providers will select insurance options that they don’t actually accept in the first place, for reasons I’ll never understand
TBF, each of the ones that responded connected that they’d not accepted it for months, yet PT was allegedly updated earlier the same day I’d sent out the intros. 🤷🏽♂️ “Insurance”, my ass, US. 🖕🏼
