Before being consumed by bloat, Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed games were fun historical adventure stories set in Rennaisance Italy, interspersed with a shitty frame story set in the present about reconstructing your ancestors’ memories which were stored in your DNA, which led to an even shittier frame story involving ancient aliens, which apparently they then abandoned and then unabandoned and expanded upon it.
I’ve been feeling the itch to revisit Assassins Creed 2 and Brotherhood but I will want/need to find a mod that lets me skip the modern stuff, cuts out the Ubisoft Launcher/Account shit, and works on a Fitgirl crack.
