I’m never not amazed, for a country whose entire economy is based on oil, that we are so god damn fucking shit at it. This is of course, on top of the other issues like we being unable to process the oil that we actually need, if I remember that correctly. It’s just amazing to see how one thing exposes the neck of the American empire; the closing of the Strait shows how weak we have always been. All the lies of Captalism exposed out in the open sun. If we were even a fraction of a functional society, we wouldn’t be in the shape that we are in.
It’s just so god damn frustrating. I see people every day in my life trying so hard to do good.
