      I agree, but I don’t think the article is really about the Atlantic’s commitment to creating meaningful change. I think it hits on something important though, which is that those who were most ardently combatting climate change have now pivoted to other political topics or backslid on their commitments.

      Climate change is as important as ever but a lot of people on the ground and those in power can’t seem to give a shit.

    The average US American is most likely unaware of the current European heatwave - they hardly know what’s happening in the next state. Journalism is evermore going down the drain - Fox News definitely doesn’t talk about climate collapse.

    Journs studiously avoid talking about climate change, if they do they use weasel word like scientists think or some scientists say rather than just state it as fact, “human caused climate change is”.
