True, Cuba being the first proof (to ultras) of the method of internationalism that China is pursuing would be great! Still afraid that the US will not let up and China will not sacrifice for Cuba, but Cuban comrades are likely in these discussions and weighing these risks. I have optimism of the will in response to their optimism

I’ve had similar thoughts, but i dont yet understand how the international relations will work to allow Cuba to benefit from such reforms while maintaining power. I’d guess Cuban comrades are thinking about this more deeply than I, but it seems like an almost impossible task, unfortunately

Yeah that’s not a concession, thats something Iran is fine with as long as the wars stop. It’s what Iran wants, as long as its demands are met. I would guess they will still charge for use of the strait due to costs for Iran
