A new survey shows that more than three out of four people who consume THC-infused cannabis beverages drink less alcohol—with more than a fifth saying they have quit alcohol entirely. The poll, published on Tuesday, was conducted by THC beverage company Crescent Canna, which surveyed its customers about their use of THC drinks. Since first […]
God forbid they cater to people like me whose tolerance goes through the roof in no time and who can’t be fucked to suffer through a tolerance break (i love the constant suggestions of tolerance breaks, like, yeah just take a T break on your zoloft if your dose isn’t working, right?)
I’m not saying high dosages shouldn’t exist. I’m saying they shouldn’t be the new default.
I agree
I’m such a big fan of having like a week of withdrawal symptoms once a month so I don’t have to take 100 mg of edibles to not have extremely bad chronic inflammation and severe depression.
Im not sure if you’re criticizing me or agreeing with me but either way i am not a fan of that
No, I’m in agreement. I actually hate having to spend like $5 a day on weed because it’s the only identified substance that reduces my fibromyalgia pain and inflammation to a manageable level.
Oh okay, yeah, it really fucking sucks. We’re in about the same boat on that, although in my case, not the fibromyalgia, mostly just insomnia and the present neck pain situation. And I worsen the tolerance situation because I definitely smoke more than I need to. I get into a habit of going to smoke whenever I feel anxious or uncomfortable, which is all the time, lol
I’m out of that r/n though and ain’t got the money so hey, forced tolerance break. At least I can still afford the sodas while i wait for more UI money
Hopefully our states will legalize SOMETHING for us eventually. The cost of weed is a huge thing keeping me broke 😔 (I am taking a certain step to alleviate that, though, but it’s the kind of thing that… takes a few weeks, wink wink)
Does weed really help insomnia? I’ve tried it and it might’ve helped me sleep quicker on a small enough dose, but it always felt like lower quality sleep. More recently I’ve heard weed at night worsens/ causes sleep issues (at least in the long-term?)
My subjective experience answering that is that it really depends on what kind of weed I’m smoking, some varieties really are more likely to have me feel tired and sleepy than others, but that no matter what, to me, being kinda stoned and not sleeping is still highly preferable to being entirely sober and not sleeping. Like I mean even if it doesn’t put me to sleep it still helps change the way i perceive sensation and time in a way that helps, versus me just sitting there. all night. every night.
