I like to leave my balcony door cracked for my cat to go in and out, and I dont want get beat up by a bug because im trying to get rid of some aphids
My neighbor told me carnivorous plants keep eating his lady bugs so I asked how many bugs he has and he said he just goes to the store and gets a new bug afterwards so I said it sounds like he’s just feeding lady bugs to plants and then his daughter started crying.

The lady bug platoon is released from its drop pod. They emerge into an alien landscape, and smell food, as well as sickly sweet scents. They venture over a strange purple and green pad; SNAP. A fly trap eats a lady bug. The aphids smell oh so close, yet so far away.

You are probably correct. It depends what type is bought but usually the ladybugs you can buy are NOT the same as your native ladybugs. So they will literally just fly away. You need native ones.
And what’s your plan for all these carnivorous plants that are apparently asleep on the job in the face of an aphid infestation?
They’re super lazy hunters, I cant even call them hunters. More like lazy slobs who only eat snacks that fall into their mouth. Cant even relate, smh
